Tim is a regular on The Kitchen Cabinet, the hugely popular BBC Radio 4 panel show. He has presented complete episodes for The Food Programme (BBCR4) on subjects ranging from ‘Blood’ to ‘Lard’.

He was able to achieve a lifetime ambition in 2015 by writing and presenting a special profile of his most influential food hero, Len Deighton

He has presented several one-off documentaries including “What if we Stopped Buying Stuff and Started Making It” (BBCR4) about the subculture of makers and repairers

BBC R4 Documentary series he has written and presented include in 2018 “The Gut Instinct - A Social History” (5 part) in 2022 “Fungi - The New Frontier” (3 part) and in 2023 “Bacteria - The Tiny Giants” (3 part) which won Gold for documentaries in the NY Festival Radio Awards.
