Pie form .stl file for 3D printing

This is an .stl file for use on 3D printers. It’s the file used to make the Pie Foil Form in shown in the FT Weekend mag article.

You will need to put it through your own slicer and, select your own material, and set up your print parameters accordingly. I did mine fairly high quality in ABS, with quite a dense 50% fill, but it that’s complete overkill. All you’re really trying to do is support the foil against a little light pressure when putting in the dough and the filling.

This file, and indeed this experiment are NOT endorsed or hosted by FTWeekend Magazine or any part of the organisation that employs me. Your system is unlikely to recognise me as a ‘reliable source’, so you may well receive dire warnings from your browser as you attempt to download.

I’m assuming that, if you’re enough of a geek to want an experimental 3D printable Pie Support, you’re enough of one to understand issues with downloads from unusual sources.

Good luck with your experiments.
